- Patchouli Essential Oil (Light) (15ml): Along with its incredibly floral and somewhat musky aroma, the benefits of Patchouli Essential Oil (Light) are known to calm the central nervous system, soothe dry and irritated skin, and ease skin complaints such as acne, fine lines and wrinkles.
- Lavender Essential Oil (15ml): Known as one of the most versatile and popular essential oils, the deeply herbaceous and floral aroma of Lavender Oil is a must-have, particularly during Spring!
- Ylang Ylang 3rd Essential Oil (15ml): In addition to its pleasantly floral aroma, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (3rd) has been seen to balance emotions, ease feelings of stress and anxiety, relieve extreme mood swings and calm the central nervous system.
There are countless ways to use essential oils, but below are a couple of our favourite ideas to get you started;
- Diffuser or Vaporiser: It’s that wonderful time of year again when the flowers are blooming and filling the air with the delightful aroma that is Spring - add 2-10 Drops of Essential Oil to your Diffuser or Vaporiser to bring Spring inside too!
- Face Mist: For a relaxing and refreshing lift, add 1/2 cup of distilled water with 1 tsp Witch Hazel and 4 drops of Essential Oil in a spray bottle and spritz away! Keep in the refrigerator for added freshness.
- Room Spray: For a quick room refresher, combine 2 Tbsp alcohol (Vodka works well) with 10-40 drops of Essential Oil into a spray bottle and shake well. Top up with ¾ cup water and mist the air throughout your home.
- Facial Oil: For an all-natural, healing facial oil, blend 10-15 drops of essential oil into 100ml of your favourite carrier oil – apply nightly for best results!
Essential Oil Safety
- In line with the Therapeutic Goods Act, we do not recommend ingesting essential oils without the guidance of a registered Aromatherapist or Naturopath. Essential Oils are extremely potent and can cause serious harm if used incorrectly.
- Essential oils should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
- Avoid using Essential Oils during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
- Essential Oils are very concentrated and are likely to cause irritation if applied directly to the skin. For this reason, we recommend diluting your essential oils before using topically (on the skin). For skin application we recommend a 2-4% dilution and for facial application we recommend a 1-2% dilution for adults.
